From his memorable role in Om Shanti Om to dubbing alongside Shah Rukh’s youngest son, AbRam Khan, Shreyas shared how destiny has intertwined his career with the Khan family.

On Working with Shah Rukh Khan

Recalling his time on the sets of Om Shanti Om, Shreyas said, “I practically remember every day on the set of Om Shanti Om. It was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my career.” While Shreyas and Shah Rukh have not worked together on-screen since then, their bond has extended beyond films. Reflecting on this connection, Shreyas shared an anecdote:

“Recently, while shooting, someone pointed out to me, ‘In 2007, you played Shah Rukh Khan’s friend. In 2019, you became Aryan’s [Shah Rukh’s eldest son] friend as Timon in The Lion King. And now, you’ve become AbRam’s friend too.’ I joked, ‘This is great—I’m getting younger!’ It’s fabulous how destiny works.”

A Special Bond with the Khan Family

For Shreyas, the experience of lending his voice to Mufasa in Mufasa: The Lion King was deeply special as it also marked another connection with the Khan family. Shah Rukh’s youngest son, AbRam Khan, lent his voice to the younger version of Mufasa in the Hindi adaptation. “It’s a special feeling to be part of something where our paths have crossed again, this time through AbRam. It’s like destiny keeps bringing us together,” Shreyas said with gratitude.
