Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are currently on the second round of Jersey promotions. After the December postponement of the film, the actors are now gearing up for the release this week on April 22. The movie also stars Pankaj Kapur. In an earlier interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shahid Kapoor had spoken about his sleep habits.
Shahid Kapoor who turned 41 earlier this year said that he wakes up early and goes to bed quite early, too. “I usually wake up early. For example f I am shooting at 8 or 9 in the morning, I get up 3 and a 1/2 hrs before that because I have a routine. I like to train before reaching set. I like to spend some time with my kids. So by the time I get to set, I am wide awake. I'm already in fourth-fifth gear, some people like it, some don't because they are like 'calm down it's early in the morning'. Not everyone is an early morning person. I used to be an insomniac. Now I am a very early morning person and I love morning energy and by 6-6.30 in the evening I am out. You should not be working with me after that. I'll be really bad at what I am doing,” he said.
When asked how early he goes to bed at night, the actor shared, “On good days by 10. On bad days by 11.30 but definitely before 12, I would like to sleep. In Mumbai, it is somehow difficult, the energy only is nocturnal. If I am on my own and just shooting, I'll be in bed by 10. But if I am at home and the kids and Mira are there then sometimes it gets a little late as the entire house does not function according to me".
