Recently, Adarsh, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, shared his thoughts on the top 10 actors in the Hindi film industry post-pandemic. Going by Shah Rukh Khan’s performance, Taran called him “Emperor Khan.”

It all happened when we asked the veteran trade analyst to comment on Shah Rukh Khan being the top post-pandemic star with Rs. 543.05 cr. Adarsh asserted, “He is seated on the throne. He has reclaimed the throne. I will say, he is not just King Khan, he is Emperor Khan in today's date. Because positions 1 to 5 belong to him. As Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) ji once said in a dialogue in a film - Jahan hum khade hotey hai line wahi se shuru hoti hai.”

He further added, “Today, the line is starting from where Shah Rukh Khan is standing. So, he is there at the top.” Explaining his take, Adarsh said, “You see, he didn't do any promotions, he didn't do any marketing, he didn't give any interviews, he didn't go from city to city, he didn't go to malls, he didn't catch individuals and ask them to watch his movie. The movie speaks for itself. The numbers of the film speak for themselves, and that is eventually what matters.”

For the unversed, before the pandemic, SRK experienced a period of poor performance at the box office. However, with the release of Pathaan, he achieved a significant breakthrough, earning an astounding Rs. 543.05 crores. Pathaan emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film to date, solidifying Shah Rukh Khan's position as the top superstar.
