The upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial Cirkus is indeed a perfect Christmas gift for a section of moviegoers. Apart from the eccentric background score, Deepika Padukone’s cameo, and Ranveer Singh in a double role, the ensemble star cast of the film is its USP. For the unversed, some of the finest actors such as Sulabha Arya, Sanjay Mishra, Siddharth Jadhav, Johnny Lever, and Mukesh Tiwari, among others.

Most of the above-mentioned actors have previously worked with Rohit Shetty, especially Sanjay Mishra. He has been a part of almost all the comedy films directed by Rohit Shetty. Ahead of the release of Cirkus, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rohit Shetty shared his experience of working with the veteran actor while recalling a funny incident from the sets of their previous collaboration, All The Best.

Rohit Shetty recalled, “We were shooting for All The Best in Goa. I was shooting for a scene featuring Sanjay Mishra and Sanjay Dutt. So the latter is standing behind the former and he is supposed to give a reaction to the camera as it was a close-up shot.” He further added that after giving the reaction to the camera placed in the position, he started looking somewhere else as well during that shot.

He asserted, “I asked him where are you looking. He shouted at me instead because he knows me for ages now. He yelled at me saying - you have placed one more camera. There was one camera lying there. But, there was no cameraman, still, he gave a reaction to that camera. That’s Sanjay Mishra and he has not changed.”

On this, the leading lady of the upcoming comedy movie, Jacqueline Fernandez said, “And, he is an awesome human being.” While Varun Sharma agreed with her, Shetty added, “He is a great guy.”
