EXCLUSIVE: Ritwik Bhowmik recalls shooting for Maja Ma; says, “I was numb through the shooting” : Bollywood News

Prime Video’s upcoming film Maja Ma starring Madhuri Dixit and Gajraj Rao is slated to release on the streaming platform on October 6. Though the film has veteran actors in its cast, it also introduces a few new faces, including that of Ritwik Bhowmik. Interestingly, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Ritwik shared his experience of working on the project.

When asked to share what was in his mind while shooting for the project, Ritwik said, “Not in the negative form of it but I was numb through the shooting of this film because so many things were happening to me for the first time. And at this scale and with these people so for me, it was an experience that I can now remember to be one of the finest ever but while it was happening to me.”

He further added, “I was so happy just being present there and extremely nervous.” Meanwhile, actor Srishti Shrivastava also spoke about her experience. She asserted, “The idea of just working with her (Madhuri Dixit) and this character is really nicely written. It's very interesting for me to be a part of this.”

Talking about Maja Ma, directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra. Maja Ma will premiere on October 6 exclusively on Prime Video.
