Rakul, known for keeping it real, didn’t hold back and said, “See, that depends on how much media you are buying, and I don’t believe in buying media.”
At a time when media visibility is often driven by strategy and paid promotions, Raj questioned the true role of PR in shaping success, with Rakul’s perspective offering a refreshing take on what really matters in Bollywood. “I aspire to do good work, but I am not in a race with anybody. Shah Rukh Sir, Salman Sir, Ajay Sir have stood the test of time and have been here for so many years—even when there was no PR or social media.”
She emphasized the importance of talent, consistency, and genuine audience connection, noting that while PR can boost a career, true stardom goes beyond just headlines.
