EXCLUSIVE: Rahul Jain reveals that he wrote Bepannaah’s title track while travelling

Rahul Jain is one of the most versatile singers who started off with covering songs and posting videos on YouTube. In no time, the talented singer moved on to composing and writing songs with perfection. He has already worked on multiple projects while keeping his ‘Unplugged Saturday’ sessions going on his YouTube channel. Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, Rahul Jain spoke about his latest song, writing Bepannaah’s title track during his travel, and his possible collaboration with Harshad Chopda along with a few other projects.

Talking about his song, ‘2 Rs Ki Pepsee’, Rahul Jain spoke about how he wanted to write something light-hearted for Friendship’s Day and he decided to play around with the usual catchphrase, ‘2 Rs Ki Pepsee, Tera Bhai Sexy’. The music video, too, has shown some fun moments among friends that will take you on a trip down memory lane. The singer is surely a man with a lot of talents and has written and composed the hit title track of Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget starrer Bepannaah along with ‘Zaroorat’ and has worked on other projects too.

Speaking about the craze for the song, Rahul Jain reveals that he had forgotten about the due date for submitting the song. He said, “I actually forgot that I had to present the song to Aniruddha Rajderkar, the director of the show, who also happens to be a great friend of mine. So, I was in between flights when I got a reminder that I have to submit a song, so during my travel, I penned it down without having hopes that it will make it to the final cut. So, when I presented the song, they really liked it and we went ahead with the version. I have received so much love for this song that I have released two new versions including a rock version and a sad version for this song.”

Rahul is currently focusing on collaborating with actors and working on new projects including films that are yet to be announced under big banners including stars like Sana Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and another project for Salman Khan Films. During one of his live sessions, Rahul had mentioned about a possible collaboration with Harshad Chopda, so we asked him a few details about the same. He said “We are still in talks, the lockdown has definitely delayed the project for us, but he is in talks with other people also. But, things are not finalized as of now and we are mostly going to go ahead with it.”

Signing off, Rahul Jain gave out a lot of love and appreciation for his fans who have supported him throughout his journey and said that he needs them more than they need him.
