Actor Radhika Madan has praised her Subedaar co-star Anil Kapoor for his remarkable energy and work ethic, calling the veteran star “the youngest person on set” despite his decades-long career in the film industry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Madan recalled how Kapoor’s enthusiasm created an inspiring environment during the making of the film. “He is the youngest person on the set with the most energy,” she said. “He’s the most hardworking person you’ll ever meet.” According to Madan, Kapoor approaches every scene with the excitement of a newcomer. She described him as someone who constantly looks for ways to push himself during a shoot. “He’s like a child, ‘I’m going to do this, I’m going to jump from here,’ he says with so much enthusiasm,” she shared.
The actor added that Kapoor’s dedication often motivated others on set to raise their own standards. “I’m used to being the best student on the set because I love prepping and going over and above in every scene,” she said. “But when I saw him, I was like, ‘Am I doing enough?’” Madan also pointed out that Kapoor has a healthy sense of competition that helps bring out the best in his co-stars. “He competes with you. If you get a ‘great’ and he gets a ‘good,’ he’ll ask why his grade isn’t higher,” she joked.
Madan said Kapoor’s passion set the tone for the entire production. “The entire crew thrived on his energy,” she said. “Everyone was completely in it because he was so passionate about what he was doing.”
