Indian fashion designer Masaba Gupta is making her way to the digital world. The entrepreneur will make her acting debut with Netflix series, Masaba Masaba in which she plays an aspiring designer. Masaba, over the years, has carved a niche for herself in the world of fashion. Not only that, but she also has her own line of lipsticks too.
While promoting her Netflix series, Masaba Gupta spoke to Bollywood Hungama on various topics. When asked the three staple fashion hacks that one should always have, she said, “Always carry with you a white shirt – whenever you are confused wear a nice white shirt. A nice black flowy maxi dress is a wardrobe staple and will always save you no matter what. And red lipstick.”
Based on real-life moments from Masaba Gupta’s life, this scripted series follows her unique background, the diverse worlds she straddles across fashion and family, and her foray back into the dating world. An inspirational, joyous celebration of her life, this fun series is packed with tongue-in-cheek humour, enacted by the mother-daughter duo, Masaba, and Neena Gupta themselves.
