EXCLUSIVE: Manoj Bajpayee admits he was nervous working with a big star like Samantha Akkineni in The Family Man 2 2 : Bollywood News

Amazon Prime Video's original series The Family Man 2 starring Manoj Bajpayee is close to the premiere. The show marks the Hindi debut of Telugu superstar Samantha Akkineni. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Manoj Bajpayee recently said that he was completely nervous working with a huge star like her.

Manoj revealed that he had some footage of the prep that Samantha Akkineni was doing. When he reached Chennai and got to know about her prep, he said that he was quite impressed and even nervous, “I was completely nervous. Maine kaha 'yaar yeh ladki toh pehle se taiyaar hai, mera ek scene bhi nahi hua hai' (I said this girl is ready already, I have not even done one scene) I really have to pull up my socks and go on the set with full preparation.”

He said, "When you are working with such a big star and you see the hard work that the person is putting in, you are only left with one though - 'This series is going to be something else because of this kind of talent coming on board. All of us were happy, joyous, and excited after watching her perform. Samantha has added a big colourful feather to our cap. We are grateful to her and fortunate that she agreed to be part of the show and that it only helped the show."

Reacting to this, Akkineni tweeted, “You had to pull up your socks omg@BajpayeeManoj.. don’t steal my lines sir you are the greatest. And I can’t wait for everyone to see what you have done in #familymanseason2.”
