Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently gearing up for the release of his Pan-India film Liger, in which he stars opposite Bollywood actress Ananya Panday. The actor sat for an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama with his co-star, for an interesting rapid-fire round.

In the fun and candid segment, the actor also spoke about how to tackle or fight piracy and why people should watch films in theatres. “I would like people to watch films in theaters because being an actor and now owning a theater, and having a production house, I know the effort, the risk, the money and the sleepless nights that go into making a film and the number of lives that are impacted by film,” Vijay said urging the audience to watch the films in theatres.

He continues, “It's not just about an actor or producer, it's about thousands of families that live off each film. So, it's an entire industry. So, it's an entire economy, entire industry. Watch good films. I'm not saying go watch every film but any film you like. If you watch it in a theater, it helps. It just keeps the system flourishing.”

Liger will see South actor Vijay Deverakonda play the role of an underdog boxer who makes his way to international fame. The movie will also feature a cameo of former American professional boxer Mike Tyson. Being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, the movie is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on August 25, 2022.
