With the release of Satyaprem Ki Katha this year, she garnered immense praise for her performance. However, Kiara is not competing to work with the best filmmakers but rather competing with herself to do better work

Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, Kiara Advani said, “There are definitely a lot of filmmakers that I have on my list and I know I want to work with. But, I think that the competition is more with what I have done in the last year. How can I better that? How can I grow as a person, and what am I doing to push the envelope for myself? So now honestly, I mean, it sounds like a cliché when you say, so and so is just competing with themselves and it's not entirely that. But, the endeavor is to grow. I cannot be the same person I was five years ago, and I'm definitely not making the same choices. My choices are evolving with the way I'm evolving as a person or with the kind of work I'm doing. So that is something that's constant. And most definitely, there's a bucket list and a wish list and with that, whether it's genres, whether it's filmmakers I want to work with, whether it's the kinds of things I want to do, so there's that is always there.”

On the work front, Kiara Advani has Ram Charan starrer Game Changer next along with War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
