Karan Johar elaborated on the incredible resonance of his movies with newer generations. He mentioned how young audiences at fan screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, another one of his iconic films, were just in their early twenties, despite the film being released more than two decades ago. He said, “I was so overwhelmed when we had fan screenings for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I was like, everyone in those screens were like, 20-21-22, like, they were not even born when the film was released, and the film is still resonating it. I don't know how to explain. I felt so grateful at that time. I was like, ‘Wow’, 25 years later, when the film strikes a chord, that means you’ve done something correct in life.”
