Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar, who is best known for her performances in Don, D, Krishna Cottage, and Ek Vivaah Aisa Abhi and more, shot to fame in Bollywood with a special number, 'Khallas’. Though the actress took a break after the birth of her daughter in July 2014, she is all set to make a comeback.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress talked about all things Bollywood and her inspiration in the industry. The actress, who will next star in Gulaab Didi, spoke about how she had regrets about not saying yes to certain projects. She also revealed that veteran actress Sridevi has been her role model and inspiration. In a candid rapid-fire round, when asked about her role model when she was aspiring to be an actress, Isha replied, “Sridevi ji. I loved her. That's why I said I love comedy.”

“I loved her in Sadma, I loved her in Chaalbaaz. I loved her in Chandni, loved her in Lamhe, loved her in every film that she's done. I think she just brought so much life on screen. Her eyes were just mesmerizing. There's something about her. And I believe that in person she was exactly the opposite, very coy, timid, quiet, an introvert.”

“But I know what happened when she was in front of the camera. She was my inspiration,” Koppikar said. On the work front, Isha is gearing up to make a comeback in showbiz with a few projects set to hit theaters this year. She had taken a hiatus from the industry after the birth of her daughter Rianna in July 2014.

On the work front, Isha Koppikar will next star in Gulaab Didi releasing on October 14.
