Exclusive: “It is embarrassing to ask and I get my due”, says Manoj Bajpayee talking about remuneration : Bollywood News

A while back reports surfaced that stated Manoj Bajpayee had been paid an astronomical amount as remuneration for featuring in the series The Family Man season 2. In fact, the reports of his remuneration made headlines for days. Now in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Manoj Bajpayee opened up about the reports and asking for such amounts as fees.

When asked about his response to the speculations that he started charging huge amounts after the success of The Family Man, Manoj said, “It's very naive, I got recognition long back and got all the luxuries without asking for it from past 2 decades. As far as charging huge amounts goes it is embarrassing to ask and I get my due”.

Interestingly, as per the reports Manoj Bajpayee received a remuneration considerably higher than the female lead of the series and the director as well. As for the series, The Family Man season 2 was well received and fast became the talk of the town.
