Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was recently spotted in Gehraiyaan, has been in the news more than ever for her incredibly poetic performance in the film. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress participated in a segment ‘You Ask, Celebs Reply’ where the host read a tweet from Deepika’s fan, which said “How long we’ll have to wait to see 2 megastar Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone together on a big screen (in full-fledged roles)?” To which even the host insisted on asking for more details about Pathan’s release.
Deepika acknowledged that when she was at Bigg Boss 15, there was a chemistry between Salman Khan and her. The Ramleela actress said, “ I think Salman Khan is a Capricorn and so am I”. Probably, being a Capricorn can be the reason why they are a much-suited couple for Pathan.
Later Padukone went on telling a story from her modeling days when Salman offered her a film but she chose to wait as she was not interested in acting.
She also mentioned that she is utterly grateful to Salman since he saw her as an actress before she knew she could be.
Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut with Om Shanti Om next to Shah Rukh Khan in the pivotal role. The film was directed by Farah Khan. While Salman Khan is set to make his cameo in Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone starrer Pathan, it is unclear whether the actress will share screen space with Salman.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has several movies in her pipeline which includes her next with Prabhas, The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and a Hollywood film.
