Ranveer Singh is much loved among audiences for his commendable performances in different avatars and this time, fans are equally anticipating the deadly combo of Ranveer and Rohit Shetty on the big screens with Cirkus where the beloved actor will be seen in a dual role in this Rohit Shetty directorial.

Ahead of the release of the upcoming comedy film, Ranveer recalled the tough times when stringent COVID-19 protocols were to be followed during the pandemic. Speaking of the time, he also shared his fascinating experience of shooting with the ‘unique’ actor Sanjay Mishra.

“Personally, for me, the craziest day was any day that you happen to be shooting with Sanjay Mishra; those days are the craziest days,” Ranveer recalled in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama. “I remember them all so vividly, I wish I could narrate those instances.”

“Sanjay ji is just– he’s a very unique character,” Ranveer added. “In the middle of the shot I’m just there admiring what he’s doing and he’s just free flowing. You just don’t know what you’re going to get, in which take. His English is wrong, his emphasis on words is wrong, his lines are wrong.”

He continued, “But [Rohit Shetty] has worked with him for decades now and it is fascinating to watch a director direct an actor in the way that Rohit Shetty directs Sanjay Mishra. It is unique. That itself is a parallel comedy film.”

Speaking of Cirkus, the film stars Ranveer Singh alongside Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the comedy-drama also includes Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tiku Talsania, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Vrajesh Hirjee in pivotal roles.

Cirkus arrives in theatres on December 23.
