T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan Kumar and Chalk N Cheese’s Tushar Hiranandani and Nidhi Parmar are celebrating the success of Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne. Starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, the film has collected Rs. 18.04 crores at the box office. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the three producers talked about the film, the upcoming projects and why they opted for theatrical release for the Srikanth instead of a streaming release. Bhushan Kumar talked about the mega success of Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, and how it has given them a boost to make bigger projects now.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Bhushan Kumar said, “We used to hear about Rs. 1000 crore movies of other banners. We got nearly Rs. 1000 crore film which gives you the boost to make bigger and better films. You get the power.”

Animal, directed and co-written by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action-drama film that stirred varied conversations on social media. Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Ranvijay Singh, a hardened son of a powerful industrialist. When an assassination attempt is made on his father, Ranvijay embarks on a brutal path of vengeance, unleashing a destructive rampage.

The film boasts a star-studded cast alongside Ranbir Kapoor, including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri.

The film garnered mixed reactions. The film faced criticism for its graphic violence and portrayal of masculinity. Despite the controversy, Animal was a commercial success, grossing an estimated Rs. 917.82 crore at the box office.

Meanwhile, the plans for a sequel titled Animal Park are already underway.
