Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi took a rousing motivational session for Ananta Quest yesterday at a grand event in Mumbai. The aim of the organization and the session was to help people post the age of 50 find purpose in life.

Following the event, Vidyarthi spoke about his experience in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama saying, “I think what they (Ananta Quest) are doing is amazing. And that’s something that we have been doing at Ashish Vidyarthi & Associates, which is actually spreading hope. When you have hope, you don’t give up on yourself. Then you don’t discuss others. You are actually creating stuff for yourself. And I personally believe that all of us have a lot of desires; we can do a lot of newer stuff. Also, whatever expertise we have learnt in all these years, we can apply that in a new form. I think that is where the future is.”
The last time when Ashish Vidyarthi had a conversation with Bollywood Hungama in 2023, he had urged casting directors to cast him in good roles and that he is eager to do more than what he was offered back then. He had said, “I would like to tell them (casting directors), ‘Main zinda hoon dost. Don’t wait for me to die. Then don’t say that this actor wasn’t utilized properly’.” His comments had gone viral on the internet and social media.
When asked whether his appeal paid rich dividends, Vidyarthi said, “Oh yes! Things are continuously changing and work keeps happening. Remember, knocking doesn’t mean the door will open from here only; you don’t know from where it can open. So, I keep knocking. I am still saying that I am an amazing actor. I keep looking for extraordinary central roles. Some people still ask me, ‘Special role karega?’. I say, ‘Nahin karoonga’. That hunger needs to be there and for that you need to keep asking.”
The veteran artist is eagerly looking forward for his next web series, which is backed by Hrithik Roshan. “I am really excited for the next one, which is Storm. This is by Hrithik Roshan’s production. I also have some Telugu films coming up. I also have a show on Amazon, which will come in March,” he said.
Just a few days back, Vidyarthi posted a video on his Instagram page where he was seen giving a stand-up comic act on the terrace of a building in Gwalior. Sharing the story behind it, he said, “We had gone to Gwalior to do the show. But they had given the same hall for a marriage party. But we said the show must go on. So, I went to the terrace and climbed the ladder (to perform).”

Vidyarthi has acted in over 350 projects in a career spanning over 30 years. When asked how he looks back at his journey, he was quick to add, “I don’t look back; I only look forward. What I look back is a part of my biography. But I continuously create something new. I really don’t look back. I really look at what next. I reach out to directors, I look out for possibilities, I create content on social media, I give talks, I travel all over the country and the world for my talks. We do 10-12 sessions in a month. Along with that, we act, we do blogging and we make food reels.”
