Tracing her journey as Archana Deshmukh in the serial Pavitra Rishta, Ankita Lokhande became a popular figure in the Indian entertainment industry. After establishing her name in the television industry, she is now dabbling with films too. Amid all this, the actress surprised her fans by entering the controversial BB house during Bigg Boss 17 with her husband Vicky Jain. Not just that, she was also the finalist on the show, hosted by Salman Khan. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ankita, who is now back home, discussed life after the reality show.

Readers would recall that Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain became household names after the couple had major showdowns within the Bigg Boss 17 house. Not only did host Salman Khan intervene, but even the families of the couple were invited on the show to salvage certain situations, which seemed to go out of hand. During this candid chit-chat with Bollywood Hungama, Ankita also went on to confess that she couldn’t even rewatch these episodes as she found them ‘too toxic’.

The Pavitra Rishta actress said, “We actually tried watching these episodes but we couldn't because it was too toxic to watch. A lot of things were happening in that house and I didn't want to watch it. But meri himmat hi nahi hui ki main mere episodes achhe se dekh sakoon. Itne ladayiyan, jagade, itna tu-tu main-main, itna log bol rahein hai aapko ganda-ganda, so usse achha naahi lag raha tha dekhne ko (I just did not have the guts to watch my episodes. There was just so many fights and arguments, many of them were badmouthing each other, so I couldn’t watch it)”.

Many, including host Salman Khan, confessed that they were expecting to see Ankita win the reality show. However, the actress was the fourth contestant to be eliminated with Munawar Faruqui winning the trophy and Abhishek Kumar as well as Mannara Chopra as the runner-ups.
