Stepping into the role of a soldier is never just about putting on a uniform — it’s about embodying courage, endurance, and sacrifice. After receiving much appreciation in the web show Kull, Ankit has now taken on one of his most demanding roles yet in this Excel Entertainment production.

Set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, 120 Bahadur tells the powerful story of the valiant Indian soldiers who fought fearlessly against Chinese troops during the Battle of Rezang La, preventing a potential occupation of the Ladakh region. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead, alongside an ensemble cast.

Filmed across rugged, snow-covered terrains, the war drama demanded authenticity in every frame. For Ankit Siwach, that meant enduring harsh weather conditions, unpredictable schedules, and relentless physical challenges. The actor reportedly underwent extensive fitness and endurance training before the shoot, focusing on strength, agility, and combat realism to ensure his portrayal felt genuine.

Recalling his experience, Ankit shared, “The location, the cold, the silence, everything added to the gravity of the story. There were moments where the exhaustion felt real because it mirrored what soldiers might go through on the front lines.”

Shooting in extreme conditions — often below freezing point — brought the cast and crew closer to understanding the true spirit of military life. Every scene, according to Ankit, carried a profound sense of duty, not just to the film but to the memory of those who fought bravely for the nation.

For Ankit, 120 Bahadur was more than just another acting assignment; it was a journey of transformation. Having always admired the armed forces, the actor found the experience deeply personal, describing it as a tribute to real-life heroes.

With its high-stakes action, emotional depth, and authentic storytelling, 120 Bahadur promises to be a gripping cinematic salute to the courage and sacrifice of India’s soldiers. The film is set to hit theatres on November 21, bringing audiences a stirring story of patriotism, endurance, and honour.
