The trailer of the highly anticipated sequel of the 2017 South Korean action film The Outlaws, starring actors Ma Dong Seok [Don Lee] and Yoon Kye Sang, has been released with the action-packed avatar of the Ma Seok Do.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, The Outlaws 2 will follow the exciting adventures of legendary detective Ma Seok Do and his police station’s violent crimes squad as they fight to eradicate crime. Ma Dong Seok will be reprising his role as Ma Seok Do. He will be joined by his co-stars Choi Gwi Hwa, Heo Dong Won, Ha Jun, and Park Ji Hwan – all of them are returning for the long-awaited sequel. Son Seok Gu will also be joining the cast as a new character.

The new trailer begins by dramatically declaring, “Ma Dong Seok is coming. After ‘this tunnel,’ ‘The Outlaws’ will return.” The clip then shows glimpses of Ma Dong Seok taking on the bad guys in the film’s many action-packed fight scenes. In the final cut, Ma Seok Do is getting ready for a fight on a bus as he coolly warns his opponents, “If you start to feel like you might die while getting beaten up, ring the bell. I’ll let you get off.”

In a newly released poster for the upcoming film, Ma Dong Seok stands in a tunnel facing a horde of police cars. Playing off the fact that the title of Ma Dong Seok’s new Marvel film The Eternals resembles the phrase “this tunnel” when written in Korean, the poster’s caption teases, “‘The Outlaws’ is coming after ‘this tunnel’ [‘Eternals’]!”

The Outlaws 2 is currently scheduled to premiere in 2022.
