Millie Bobby Brown returns to brush up her detective skills as Sherlock Holmes' teenage sister Enola Holmes teaming up with Henry Cavill’s Sherlock for Enola Holmes sequel.
The latest trailer for Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2 shows the titular teen detective (Millie Bobby Brown) asking her famous brother, Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill), for help finding a missing woman. The official synopsis for the film reads, “Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel.”
Aside from Brown and Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter is returning in the Netflix film as the trio's mother Eudoria, and Louis Partridge will reprise his role as Enola's love interest, Viscount Tewkesbury. They'll be joined by other returning cast members including Adeel Akhtar and Susan Wokoma, and newcomers like Sharon Duncan-Brewster and Harry Potter's David Thewlis.
Enola Holmes 2 is directed by two-time Emmy winner Harry Bradbeer from a screenplay by Jack Thorne. The two previously worked together on 2020’s Enola Holmes. The films are based on novels by author Nancy Springer that are based on the famous Sherlock Holmes mysteries by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
