A.R. Ameen has brought together a notable creative collaboration, pairing his vocals with Jasleen Royal for his latest single ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ - a composition by his father A.R. Rahman. Released on February 2, 2026, the song, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, is positioned as an emotionally driven, cinematic love story that unfolds through music and visuals with a timeless appeal.
The music video stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur as lovers connected across alternate realities. The narrative moves fluidly between retro-inspired settings and a futuristic dystopian world, reflecting the emotional sweep of the song. The visual concept balances scale with intimacy, echoing the longing and tenderness embedded in the composition. Notably, ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ reunites Dulquer and Mrunal after their widely appreciated pairing in Sita Ramam (2022), adding a layer of familiarity and nostalgia for audiences.

Ameen shared, “‘Bheegi Bheegi’ is very close to me and reflects the kind of music I want to create - emotional, cinematic, and timeless. Working on a composition by A.R. Dulquer Salmaan highlighted the emotional core of the project, saying, “What drew me to ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ was its emotional honesty. Rahman, my co-star Mrunal after Sita Ramam, Jasleen after ‘Heeriye’, and the talented Ameen - someone I'm extremely fond of.
