On Tuesday morning, the singer visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to seek blessings from Lord Shiva.

A Spiritual Pause Amid the Tour

Diljit, who is currently touring India with his Dil-Luminati Tour, made a special trip to the Mahakaleshwar Temple. The temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and a revered pilgrimage site. In a heartwarming video that quickly went viral on social media, Diljit is seen sitting in front of the temple, participating in the first aarti of the day. The singer wore a traditional white outfit, paired with a matching turban, which added a cultural touch to the sacred experience.

Along with his team, Diljit also witnessed the bhasma aarti, a ritual involving the offering of ashes to the deity. He then took time to pray in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, following which the temple authorities presented him with a shawl as a token of respect.

While on stage, he recited a famous verse by the late poet Rahat Indori: "Sabhi ka khoon hai iss mitti mein shamil, kisi ke baap ka Hindustan thodi hai!" (Everyone’s blood is part of this soil, no one person owns India).

Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour continues to take him to various cities across India. After his visit to Ujjain, the singer is set to perform in Chandigarh on December 14, Mumbai on December 19, and will conclude his tour in Guwahati on December 29. Fans are eagerly awaiting his performances as he continues to captivate audiences across the country.
