Popular Indian actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has been on an update spree on his social media. The actor, who was recently seen in the studio with Australian singer-songwriter Sia, seems to be collaborating with another international musician. The singer-actor shared a slew of photos on his social media on Thursday with American rapper Saweetie.

Diljit Dosanjh shared a series of photos from his studio where he was seen interacting with Saweetie as she was seen recording her verses. While it is unclear with the singer-actor is working on an album with multiple international artists on board, his latest updates do seem to hint that something is definitely in the works.

Saweetie—born Diamonté Harper—turned her love for words into vivid verses during 2018 on the High Maintenance EP with her smash hit "ICY GRL'' earning an RIAA platinum certification. 2019 saw the release of Saweetie's ICY EP, spawning double-platinum viral sensation "My Type” as well as a 2020 BET Awards nomination for "Best Female Hip Hop Artist." As a businesswoman, she launched her sold-out ICY jewellery line and partnered with PrettyLittleThing for a 50-piece capsule collection.

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh is gearing up for his movie Punjab ’95 in which he plays human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The world premiere of the film will take place at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023. Helmed by Honey Trehan, the film also stars Arjun Rampal and Suvinder Vicky in pivotal roles.

He also has The Crew with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu. The actor will also star in Amar Singh Chamkila’s biopic Chamkila. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra.
