Karan V Grover is making a remarkable return to intense roles with his latest portrayal as Ishaan in Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Drama's Dil Ko Rafuu Kar Lei. After a long time, he’s stepping into a character that dives deep into emotions and love. For Karan, playing a character, this layered and emotionally charged is both a challenge and a rewarding experience. He believes that the complexity of the storyline, filled with passion and tension, brings out a new side of him as an actor.
“Every character is intense, but this one is a different kind of intensity,” Karan shared. “This is an intense love story, but unlike most, the intensity doesn’t start with tragedy - it starts with love. The whole vibe is very strong and passionate, as the story revolves around two flawed individuals coming together to fix their relationship,” he added
When it comes to his co-star, Ayesha Khan, Karan speaks highly of her professionalism and dedication. He expressed, “It’s not just about learning for the reel. I still ask her about posting things on social media, but what I admire most about Ayesha is how her energy never drops. Whether she’s unwell, or just not in the mood, she’s always on top of her game. I’ve never seen her compromise on a shot, no matter the circumstance. She’s very professional, and extremely efficient. I’ve never noticed a mistake in any of her scenes, and I really appreciate that.”
Reflecting on his journey with the creators of Dreamiyata Drama, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, Karan shares his admiration for them both. “I’ve seen them grow stronger and stronger over the years, and we’ve been friends throughout. As artists and individuals, they’ve invested so much—time, money, energy—into storytelling they truly believe in. Both are incredibly creative and passionate about their work. Working with them is always a treat, and I make sure to collaborate with them whenever possible. It’s rare to find people so involved, making sure that everyone on set is completely invested in the work being made,” he added.
