Readers would be aware that Dia Mirza tied the knot with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in an intimate ceremony two years ago. Now celebrating the anniversary of the D-day, the actress decided to make it special by sharing memories of their wedding function in a short video clip that was posted on the social media platform. Followed by that, not only did the Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein actress receive lots of anniversary wishes from her fraternity friends and loved ones but many of them, who attended the wedding, also recalled the beautiful ceremony of the duo.

Dia Mirza took to Instagram to share a joint post with husband Vaibhav Rekhi on their wedding anniversary in which we can see the couple recall their fondest memories from their ceremony. In the same video, the couple was also exchanging vows in the video in two different languages. While Vaibhav read the vows in English, Dia attempted to read it in Marathi with the help of her husband and her husband’s daughter Samaira. She posted this video with a lovely caption that said, “Happy Anniversary Husband… Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of all time—eternal love and our beautiful children… “Sitaaron ke aage jahaan aur bhi hai; Humare ishq mein imtihaan aur bhi hai... Abhi tho naapi hai muthi bhar zameen; Aage aasman aur bhi hai...“

Many of the actress’ friends like Gauahar Khan, Bipasha Basu, Neha Dhupia, among others took to the platform to shower their love on the video. “God Bless”, said Khan, who is currently enjoying the phase of motherhood. Bipasha, on the other hand, posted her wishes, “Happy Anniversary” with several emojis. “Adorable D ! Love u guys,” mentioned Neha. Besides them, Masaba Gupta, Lara Bhupathi, Nimrit Kaur, Sophie Choudry, Ashish Chowdhry, Shreya Dhanwanthary, among others also dropped their comments on the post.

Dia Mirza tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi in February 2021, and later announced her pregnancy in April 2021. The couple had a premature baby boy and they named him Agastya. Dia also has a step-daughter named Samaira Rekhi, from Vaibhav’s first marriage and the actress, in the past, has shared that she shares a great bond with her.
