The television actress surprised her fans and followers by posting videos of her Haldi ceremony. While some believed that the actress is doing promotions for her upcoming projects, Devoleena took to social media to put an end to all the rumours by sharing her first photo with husband Shanwaz Shaikh.

In the previous posts of the pre-wedding festivities, Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared posts which did not feature the face of her husband. The television actress took to Instagram to share her first photos post her marriage to her trainer Shanwaz Shaikh. Along with that, the actress also posted a lovely note announcing her wedding, “And yes proudly i can say i am taken & yes shonu CHIRAAG LEKAR BHI DHOONDTI TOH TUJH JAISA NAHI MILTA. Earlier today, Devoleena posted photos of her bridal look as she was getting ready for her big D-day. Besides that, her co-stars from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Vishal Singh and Bhavini Purohit also posted photos with the bride. However, social media continued to be curious about her husband. A source revealed details about the wedding to Hindustan Times saying, “They had a Haldi ceremony last night where just family members and really close friends were invited. After the court marriage, they went to Lonavala to spend time with the family. Her boyfriend and his family are really simple, so they didn’t want a marriage in the public eye, which is the reason it was so hush hush.”
