Back in 2022, luxury brand Cartier announced Deepika Padukone as their new ambassador. Now, the actress is the face of Cartier's new "Nature Sauvage" high jewellery collection. The fan pages of the actress shared two photos from the photoshoot.
Speaking to WWD, Padukone said that she was “thrilled to be part of the Nature Sauvage high jewellery campaign, a stunning range of masterpieces embodying the spirit of nature's wild beauty and the unparalleled craftsmanship that defines the brand.”

The new collection takes a fresh look at the jeweler's bestiary, featuring unexpected encounters and modern interpretations of the animal kingdom. While the collection features classic Cartier creatures like the panther, the animals are depicted in surprising settings and juxtaposed with geometric elements inspired by modern architecture.
The report reveals that the centrepiece of the collection is the Panthère des Glaces necklace, featuring a panther leaping through an ice floe. The panther is a classic Cartier motif, but its icy setting creates a new and unexpected look. Other highlights of the collection include a flamingo brooch, a turtle necklace that can also be worn as a brooch, and a beetle necklace that features a geometric design for a contrail. The designers wanted to create a sense of mystery and intrigue, so some of the pieces conceal surprises. For example, the Mochelys necklace features a hidden turtle, and the Alae necklace incorporates a beetle as the clasp.
The collection also features a number of exceptional gemstones, including a 71.9-carat rubellite cabochon, a 38.5-carat aquamarine, and an 8.63-carat sugar loaf-shaped Zambian emerald. The designers chose these stones for their unique beauty and used them to shape the overall aesthetic of each piece.
Deepika has a busy work schedule ahead. She will be seen in the much-anticipated science-fiction film Kalki 2898 AD. This project boasts a stellar cast, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.
Deepika will also be sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan once again in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood drama The Intern. She also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
