Deepak Dobriyal, a highly talented and versatile actor, has carved a niche for himself in the Indian film industry through his exceptional acting skills and impactful performances. Although the critically acclaimed actor started his acting career back in 2003, in the past few years, he has been seen on the big screen quite often. From Janhvi Kapoor to Radhika Madan, he has worked with a bunch of new generation actors.

Recently, in an interview with News 18, Deepak was asked if the actors from the new generation are more confident and well prepared, he asserted, “The newer generation lacks patience. Agar jis cheez ka confidence chahiye woh nehi hain, aur kisi dusre cheez ka hai, toh gadbad hain. You need confidence in the specific thing you’re pursuing.”

Explaining his take, the Angrezi Medium actor said, “Vishwanathan Anand can play chess, but he can’t run like Ronaldo. Ronaldo can’t play chess. This clarity is crucial. There is a lot of hype on social media and excessive exposure. There’s no exclusivity among the newer actors anymore. Everyone knows everything.”

The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actor concluded by saying, “Give yourself time, at least two hours, as an actor. Sab airport mein busy hai. I want to ask them – kya karke aa rahe ho? Kya karne jaa rahe ho?”

Coming to the professional front, the 47-year-old actor is last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s series, Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo. Helmed by Homi Adajania, he plays the character of antagonist in the Dimple Kapadia starrer. The eight-episode series ended on a cliff-hanger, hinting at a sequel.
