Pakistani actress Madiha Imam, who made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Manisha Koirala starrer Dear Maya, tied the knot on May 1 with filmmaker Moji Basar. The actress took to her Instagram account to share wedding photos on Wednesday, May 3.

“Married 1-5-2023. Remember us in your prayers as we embark on this new chapter of our lives,” said the actor. For intimate wedding ceremony, she chose a traditional red wedding lehenga by Zara Shahjahan whereas Basar wore an ivory-coloured sherwani. However, the actress deleted all her Instagram posts and left only three behind on her feed.

While Moji Basar’s Instagram is private, his profile picture is with Imam. Interestingly, as per his IMDB, he has been working as a producer, writer, production manager, and singer. Back in 2018, he was the writer and executive producer for the short film The Sick. He was reportedly a production manager for Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi.

Madiha Imam began her career in Pakistan as a Video Jockey. She gained fame by starring in several TV dramas including Khalish, Ishq Mein Teray, Heer, Ishq Jalebi and Dushmaan-E-Jaan. For ZEE5, Madiha Imam starred opposite Bilal Abbas Khan in Aik Jhooti Love Story.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Dear Maya and starred alongside Manisha Koirala and Shreya Chaudhary. Written and directed by Sunaina Bhatnagar, the movie was about Anna and Ira who prank a local woman by writing her letters from a secret admirer. The prank takes a more serious turn when the local women goes missing.
