The theme of this year’s MET Gala, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,’ honors the legacy of Black menswear, showcasing its bold, vibrant, and detailed designs that have significantly shaped the fashion landscape.

This year, Shah Rukh Khan is set to make his debut at the 2025 Met Gala, marking a notable moment for Indian representation in global fashion. The announcement was shared by the Instagram account Diet Sabya on April 27. Scheduled to take place on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the event will see Khan walk the red carpet in an ensemble by renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, making the collaboration a significant addition to the event’s international fashion lineup.
