Popular TV actress Chhavi Mittal is one of the most-loved actresses in the television industry. While some admire her acting skills, a section of her fans hails her for fighting like a warrior against breast cancer. A couple of days back, the actress shared a bunch of photos, in which she wore a bikini and flaunted her breast cancer surgery mark.
While many extended their love and support in the comment section, a few trolls were quick to drop mean remarks. However, the actress is strong enough to hit back at them. On January 2, she took to her Instagram handle and shared some screengrabs of one of her latest posts, which read some hurtful comments. While a few passed insensitive comments on her breast cancer scars, others compared her breasts with silicone breasts.
In a lengthy note in the caption, Chhavi gave a fitting reply to trolls. She highlighted how people are extremely insensitive towards celebrities and assume they are used to and deserve such hurtful comments. Further in her note, Chhavi also spoke about her battle against breast cancer and stated that it has been a life-changing experience for her.
“Yes. This insensitivity still happens. I recently posted some vacation pics/reels from a beach and this comment got my attention. My breasts are being discussed here like a commodity. May I begin by saying that I am a breast cancer survivor and have fought very hard to keep this organ alive and well,” read an excerpt of her caption.
In her note, she also briefly spoke about the confusion around her breast cancer surgery and revealed everything about her treatment. She explained that she had a lumpectomy, a surgery in which the doctors removed just the lump in her breast instead of the entire body part. As she wrote about mastectomy, Chhavi added that it happens only in severe cases of breast cancer.

Speaking of her cancer diagnosis, the actress, in April 2022, announced that she is cancer-free after she had undergone a six-hour-long surgery.
