Sanjay Dutt just recently wrapped up shooting for his next venture Torbaaz. Post that the actor soon commenced work on his other project Prasthaanam that is currently being shot in Lucknow. Taking some time off from the shoot schedule, Sanjay Dutt and Rahul Mittra met with the CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. Also present at the meeting were Principal Secretary Awneesh Awasthi, along with other top officials from the state, along with NRI Jay Patel who discussed investment opportunities in the state.
At the meeting, Sanjay Dutt shared the fact that maternal grandmother Jaddan Bibi came from the Chilbila village, near Allahabad and also offered to adopt the village to which the CM and Avneesh Awasthi immediately said yes. Apart from this, filmmaker Rahul Mittra also suggested a film festival in the state to further propagate art, culture & cinema in the state. Besides this the CM also urged Mittra and Sanjay to explore Bundelkhand for their upcoming films, film institute, and other social work in the state.
Apart from this Sanju’s upcoming biopic was also another area of discussion at the meeting that took place for 30 long minutes with the CM reportedly in a jovial mood discussing diverse issues and offering full support to the actor – producer duo.
Mittra was incidentally the first producer to get subsidy from UP for his 2013 Saif Ali Khan starrer Bullett Raja and was a star speaker at the recently concluded UP investors summit and is the producer of Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Torbaaz.
