Last seen in Saala Khadoos, R Madhavan is currently away from the world of glitz and glamour, spending quality time with his wife Sarita Birje. In fact, the two have taken off on a vacation of sorts to ring in their 17th anniversary.

From what we hear, Madhavan's wife Sarita decided to plan a special surprise for her hubby who seems to be engrossed in hectic work schedules. It seems that Mrs. Madhavan decided to whisk her actor husband away from the hustle-bustle of the city to Ananda Luxury Spa, located amidst the picturesque Himalayan range. While this trip coincided with their wedding anniversary, we hear that it was a sort of a surprise for the South-Bollywood star. It is being said that Madhavan who landed in Mumbai after delivering a speech at Colombo, was welcomed by his wife with tickets in hand for a three day getaway with bags packed. It has also been learnt that the couple underwent a digital detox of sorts wherein they stayed away from gadgets and smartphones.
