R Madhavan's throwback pictures are quite a treat for us. At 49, he still causes us to skip a heartbeat. But let's not forget the Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein days when he was only a young, adorable guy. However, even prior to that, he had not one but a couple of stints with TV that not many of us remember or know about.

Madhavan's TV career began with Zee TV. Recently, to mark the 27th anniversary of the channel, he took to Twitter to share how the channel had given him his very first break. In response, a fan dug out a very old picture of the actor from a Zee TV show. Madhavan had an epic response to it. 'Wow . 25 years and 25 kgs ago,' he wrote.

His first TV show was Yule Love Stories which followed with shows like Banegi Apni Baat, Ghar Jamai and Saaya. Good days! And just in case you forgot, let us remind you, that the actor received a marriage proposal from an 18-year-old girl!
