Whilst Shahid Kapoor is enjoying his stint as the judge of the celebrity dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', the actor is also using it as a platform to promote his much awaited film Shaandaar. For the first time, playing the lead in a Karan Johar film is Shahid Kapoor alongside the popular Gen Y star Alia Bhatt.

With the grand finale approaching, we were well aware that we will get to see some smooth and flexible moves of Shahid Kapoor on the small screen. However, the actor won't be dancing alone on the Jhalak stage as he will be accompanied by his co-star Alia Bhatt. The young actress will be seen performing in a sequined golden gown, while Shahid Kapoor will be seen in a pair of black denims, black tee and a bright red jacket. In a sneak peek revealed by the official Twitter handle of the channel, the two are seen dancing to the tunes of their film's title track 'Shaam Shaandaar'.

Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Phantom Productions and directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaandaar also stars Pankaj Kapur, Sanah Kapur, Sushma Seth, Sanjay Kapoor among others and is slated to release on October 22.
