The film in question is a documentary titled Free A Girl which is based on sex trade and trafficking. A picture of Mallika Sherawat posing the crew of the said film has gone viral on social media. The film deals with the racket wherein young girls are forced to enter the flesh trade. The actress was also recently in news after she started dating Cyrille Auxenfans and there were also speculations about her tying the knot with her French boyfriend. But the actress took to social media to clarify on her wedding rumours and stated that she will be announcing it to everyone if she ever decides to get married.

Mallika Sherawat's last memorable appearance was the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year where she walked the red carpet along with the team of her upcoming Chinese fantasy adventure film Time Raiders.
