Veteran actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has all the reasons to celebrate as he has completed 50 years in the Indian entertainment industry. His son and actor Hrithik Roshan could not be more proud of his father as he shared a heartfelt message to celebrate the day.
On Saturday, Hrithik shared a photograph focused on his father and wrote, “Celebrating 50 years of dad’s journey in cinema. But he’s in office working towards 100. Thanks dad, for setting the impossible example for us. We love you papa.”
Actor Kabir Bedi, who starred with Rakesh Roshan in the 1988 film Khoon Bhari Maang, also congratulated him saying, “Huge congrats! Brilliant 50 years in cinema by Rakesh Roshan! Wishing him 50 more too!”
Rakesh Roshan had embarked his journey in Bollywood in 1967 but made his debut in 1970 with Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani. He starred in several films like Khatta Meetha, Khel Khel Mein and Khoobsurat. Later, he ventured in filmmaking and producing with Khudgarz in 1987. Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan have been a successful father and son duo with several films like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish 3. Their latest collaboration was a thriller Kaabil.
