Birthdays are always special and more so when it is the birthday of someone loved. Well, Hrithik Roshan who has time and again proved that he is a doting family man has done it again. Taking to the social networking site Instagram, Hrithik shared a couple of images from the birthday celebrations of his maternal grandfather.

Taking to the image hosting site, the actor captioned the images saying, “As a young man he sold his wedding ring to buy books. Studied under street lamps. Self taught. Ignited by creativity he forayed into films. Aap ki kasam and 22 more jubilee films brought him name and fame. But his greatest work was love. Here he is at 92. My greatest teacher. My Deda.” The birthday celebration which was a rather special one, saw the entire Roshan family along with friends and well wishers dropping by. Interestingly, Sussanne Khan too graced the celebrations.

Back on the film front, Hrithik Roshan who was last seen in Kaabil will soon be seen in the film Super 30 that is based on the life of Anand Kumar.
