‘Brand Talk’ with Kriti Sanon

This time round, we bring to you an exclusive interview the gorgeous Kriti Sanon, who is the brand ambassador of Trident Limited’s latest Bath & Home Linen Collection campaign ‘The Affair To Remember’ and with Rajneesh Bhatia (CEO-Trident Group, India).

Kriti, how does it feel to be the brand ambassador for ‘Trident Limited’s latest Bath & Home Linen Collection campaign ‘The Affair to Remember’?
I have done many TV commercials and photo shoots as a model. But when it comes to be a brand ambassador, it is different feeling altogether.


What made you say yes to this offer?
This brand endorsement is of a very rare category, but the quality of products is what impressed me the most. With an understanding of the campaign concept, I decided to be associated with this brand. Quality is very important for me. Needless to say that, I am fan of the Trident range of products. Their latest campaign ‘The Affair to remember’ is just being in your zone, like you can see in the campaign pictures. The overall experience has been really great.


What’s your favourite accessory from the whole range and why?
It is very difficult to pick one. Trust me; I have never seen something like that before. They have collection of towels that has embroidery/ print with a hint of Indian design to it. Even the kids’ collection fascinates me a lot, as it is really very cute and adorable.


What kind of colors and designs would you prefer in your bedroom?
I like pastel shades and brighter colours as well. I prefer geometric designs to the floral ones.

What is the tenure of your association?
As long as it goes well! I hope to work for many years with Trident Group.


On a professional front, what are your forthcoming films?
Right now, the only films that I have signed on paper are Dilwale and Farzi. As for the other films, I will speak about them when the time is right.

Please tell us about Trident’s latest bath & home linen collection campaign ‘The Affair To Remember’.
‘The Affair to Remember’ is our recently launched campaign, which has connected well with everyone as it reminds them of the special moments of their lives. The campaign has been shot in an informal way depicting our daily moods. Along with this campaign, we have also launched our fall winter collection and new products like comforters, dohars, cushion covers and blankets. With this strategy in place, we are planning to establish ‘Trident’ as a household name in the coming years.


Why did you choose Kriti Sanon to be the brand ambassador?
Both, Kriti and Trident Group are very young and vivacious. In addition to that, they both have just ‘launched’ themselves and definitely have a long way to go.


How do you see the competition in the market segment of bath & home linen linens?
With the influx of new entrants and expansion in capacities of existing players, this segment is witnessing fierce competition. There has been infusion of new technology in the Indian terry towel industry leading to a growth in productivity levels and efficiency. But, all of this will ultimately benefit the customers only.


How different is ‘Trident Group’ from all the others in the market?
When it comes to Trident’s towels, they are manufactured using fibers like organic cotton, bamboo, jute etc…which have anti-bacterial properties and are very soft and plush. Since the health and fitness awareness is increasing in the country, Trident Group has come out with a sports and gym’s towel range. One really has to experience our products in order to get a feel of comfort and luxury.
