Shefali Shah is one of the most prolific actresses in Bollywood who marks a distinct charm, grabbing the spotlight in every project she appears in. The evidence of the same was recently witnessed when the actress went on a vacation with her family and her children advised the actress during shopping to buy branded clothes for herself. The actress penned down the incident on her social media giving attention and drawing reply to the incident.
Shefali took to her social media today and shared how she gave a witty reply to her children who were suggesting her to wear branded clothes. She goes on to explain how their constant pestering eventually led to them pointing out that because she is an actor and recognizable, she should be wearing the branded apparel. She further jotted down the caption, "#traveldiariesoftheuniversalmom."
In the post, she pens down, "I like shopping but my style is comfortable, easy and something I don't have to sell a kidney for. But they have decided it's time I start wearing stuff that's recognised (read labels). I don't have anything against brands."
"You are an actor. You are seen and recognized you should wear brands.' This is one of the conversations I'd replay in my head years later and wish I had given a sharp retort. And thank God my wit doesn't fail me this time, and I have a perfect comeback at this perfect time. (not because I believe it but just coz I want to shut them up. And because of all you lovely people, my audience makes me feel so.) I look up at them (not cause they're taller but cause there's defiance when I raise my chin) and say... As soon as the post was uploaded on social media, Fans responded to her note and lauded the talented actress in support with their comments. A fan wrote, "Love it! & sooooo True!
