Veteran filmmaker Boney Kapoor is the latest celebrity to join Instagram. Earlier, the director-producer was not on any social media platform except Twitter. Now, as he has joined Instagram his son and actor Arjun Kapoor announced the news.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Arjun put up a story in which he reshared Boney's post. In the caption Arjun jokingly reasoned the decision behind his joining and wrote, "So this happened. Dad is finally on Instagram to keep track on all his kids & to show the world his rather fashionable side…@boney.kapoor1".
While resharing the same on her Instagram story, Janhvi wrote, "HIIIIII PAPA" with heart emojis. Apart from them, actress Sonam Kapoor also welcomed him and wrote, " Welcome to Instagram ! @boney.kapoor1". The filmmaker is yet to get his Instagram account verified and hasn't received a blue tick. While within just 24 hours he has gained over four thousand followers. He has even posted a few unseen pictures of him in in different moods.
On the work front, Boney Kapoor is all set to make his acting debut in Luv Ranjan’s next yet to be titled film. In the film, he'll be sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Recently, he also acquired the copy rights for remaking South Superstar Ajith Kumar’s blockbuster film Vaalee. The filmmaker got the rights after a long legal battle with director S J Suryah
