Gentle Monster introduced an eyewear line inspired by the beauty of a flowering garden, marking the brand's second collaboration with South Korean rapper-singer Jennie of BLACKPINK. Jentle Garden, a line of marbleized acetate eyewear, includes three optical frames and three sunglasses in a variety of cat-eye and enormous rectangular silhouettes.
Jennie from BLACKPINK travelled to Los Angeles to celebrate the opening of her Jentle Garden pop-up with Gentle Monster. The K-pop diva was dressed in a strapless black body-con dress with a straight neck and ruched details all over and a pencil silhouette as she arrived at the eyewear brand's flagship store in downtown LA. Her outfit was coupled with black lace-up heels, drawing attention to her new orange hair colour, which she recently revealed.
Jennie's glam options included a glossy nude lip colour, flushed cheeks, and a dab of pink eye-shadow. Jennie posted photos on Instagram of herself standing in front of pop-up installations in Los Angeles.
Gentle Monster presents an accompanying experience dream universe conceived through cotton candy-coloured houses and beds of blossoming flowers, as envisaged by one of K-top POP's stars. Seoul, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai will host the pop-up displays. The fairytale-like ambience is enhanced by delicate rock formations and drifting clouds, as well as a pink lake that runs through the custom-designed villas.
BLACKPINK is reportedly working on a comeback.
