Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter’s starrer The Royals has been creating a lot of buzz online since its release. Although the romantic comedy series was launched weeks ago, the actors continue to share behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos and appreciation posts for their show. Recently, the lead actress, Bhumi, shared a montage video on her social media, offering fans a glimpse of her fun moments on set.
The Instagram video begins with Bhumi standing by a pool, looking stunning in a bikini and sarong. It then transitions to show the actress grooving with a team member, practicing horse riding for a scene, and smashing a chocolate bar with a hammer. The video continues with Bhumi dancing once again, followed by moments of her enjoying a beautiful sunset at the beach, listening to a guitar tune, and playing with a dog.
The entire video clearly shows that Bhumi had an absolute blast while shooting for the Netflix series. Sharing the video, Bhumi captioned it, “Just a girl living her life.”

The Royals, the Netflix series, revolves around Aviraaj Singh (Ishaan Khatter), a modern-day prince, and Sophia Kanmani Shekhar (Bhumi Pednekar), the ambitious CEO of a luxury homestay startup. The rom-com show portrays how the two fall in love while transforming the struggling haveli of Morpur into a one-of-a-kind luxury B&B experience.
Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, The Royals boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including veteran actress Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Sakshi Tanwar, Chunky Panday, Nora Fatehi, Milind Soman, Kavya Trehan, Vihaan Samat, Udit Arora, Sumukhi Suresh, Lisa Mishra, and Luke Kenny.
Talking about Bhumi Pednekar’s upcoming projects, the actress will next be seen in the web series Daldal. The show, set to be released on Prime Video, will feature Bhumi in the role of a cop. Although filming for the series has already been completed, the release date is yet to be announced.
