Bigg Boss OTT contestant Akshara Singh once again attacked her co-contestant Shamita Shetty, age-shaming her, telling her not to flaunt her English and calling her ill-mannered. The kitchen issue turns into a heated argument by Akshara's comments, referring Shamita as old as her mother, accusing Shamita of speaking in English and believing herself superior to others. She told her in Hindi to, not to show off her English and hound others, to which Shamita replied that it doesn't matter what language she speak in, she gets on her nerves.

After the fight, Shamita talks to her connection, Raqesh Bapat regarding the matter, and said that whenever she says something to Akshara, she just starts attacking her. While Akhshara refused to calm down outside the kitchen area, she continued to yell "She is as old as my mother, doesn't she have any manners? She's a very ill-mannered woman.

In a previous argument, She said to shamita "Chaar line English ka bol liya toh apne aap ko hi-fi samjhne lage... yahan par Hindi bolna chahiye English bolne ka koi kaam nahi hai... (She thinks she's better than everyone else just because she can speak English. There's no place for English here. We are supposed to speak in Hindi)." . She continued to age-shame Shamita by calling her ‘maasi (aunty)'. In a conversation with Urfi Javed, the duo made fun of Shamita's age saying that she couldn't do anything in her season. Shamita had previously participated in the third season of Bigg Boss but departed abruptly to attend her sister Shilpa Shetty's wedding.
