We had earlier reported that the contestants of the Bigg Boss house have nominated Bebika Dhurve, Jiya Shankar, Palak Purswani and her former fiancé Avinash Sachdev during the elimination round. Earlier this weekend, Salman Khan interacted with the contestants and announced the name of the first eliminated contestant, which was Palak Purswani. Soon fans of the actress expressed their displeasure over this decision and came in support of the Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi star.

Palak Purswani, who was excited to enter the Bigg Boss house, was supposed to be coming face-to-face for the first time with her former fiancé Avinash Sachdev after their breakup. Furthermore, the actress also clarified her fallout with co-actor Jiya Shankar. While the latter’s relationship with her girlfriend saw massive improvement as they extended an olive branch and rekindled their friendship, Avinash and Palak stayed away from controversies and each other. While fans were eager to see if the dynamics between the former couple will improve, they were left disappointed when the actress got evicted.

One of the social media users commented on this decision saying, “Yaar really feeling sad for her, atleast she had guts to speak, #PalakPurswani, #Fukrainsaan, #ManishaRani & #AkankshaPuri are only people who are looking good in game, She was more deserving than so many people who are still there in the house”. Another fan accused Bigg Boss game to be rigged as he added, “Palak strong contestant thi atleast andar guts to tha ki muh per jawab deti thi Bina dare bb me aur bhi undeserving log the Ghar per Jo kuch nhi kar rahe the but wo makers ki favorites nhi thi na usko votes bhi jyada mile hone but jab cheating karke falak ko captain bna sakte ho to kuch bhi kar sakte hai (Palak is a strong contestant. She has guts to respond back to people, she is fearless in bb, there are many inside the house who are undeserving. They don’t do anything but she is not the makers’ favourite. She would even got more votes but if they can cheat and make falak the captain, they can do anything).”

The new season of Bigg Boss OTT also features Pooja Bhatt, Akanksha Puri, Jad Hadid, Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, among others. The show is available for streaming on Jio Cinema.
