In a surprising turn of events, Sunny Arya has been evicted from the Bigg Boss 17 house for allegedly being violent with fellow contestant Abhishek Kumar. However, Sunny's wife, Deepika Arya, has come out in support, slamming the show's makers for his eviction.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Deepika posted a video in which she defended her husband's actions. She claimed that Abhishek had provoked Sunny and that Sunny's behaviour was justified. "Gala nahi dabaya kisi ka (He did not choke anyone's throat)," she said in the video.

Deepika further added that Sunny was not being physical with Abhishek and that the clips circulating online were misleading. "Physical toh aise kuch bhi nahi hai jahan tak maine clips dekhi hai (He wasn't getting physical in the clips I saw online)," she said.

She also argued that if Abhishek could misbehave with others for Isha Malviya, then Sunny had the right to defend his friend Arun Mashetty. "Dosti hai toh obvious hai usko hurt hoga (If they are friends, obviously Sunny will get hurt)," she said. Sunny's eviction has sparked a debate on social media, with some people supporting Deepika's claims and others criticising Sunny's behaviour.

Speaking of the weekend episodes, instead of Salman, filmmaker Karan Johar will be seen gracing the show. In a promo, he can be seen slamming Abhishek. However, the channel has not given any official statement over the eviction of Sunny Arya.
