Bhumika Chawla says she was “never influenced” by her Tere Naam co-star Salman Khan : Bollywood News

Tere Naam Fame Bhumika Chawla said she can ‘Never get influenced by Salman Khan’. She mentioned this during an interview. She also said that she shares a very pleasant relationship with Salman but was never close to him. She also mentioned how he has changed a lot since she worked with him.

In 2003, Bhumika made her debut in Bollywood with Tere Naam, directed by Satish Kaushik. It was written by Bala and Jainendra Jain. The film was the remake of Bala's own Tamil film Sethu (1999). It was nominated for 24 Awards and won seven.

Bhumika mentioned that she doesn’t think anyone can get influenced in a certain way but by the actor’s performance. She also mentioned she did not have much personal interaction with him. “We were very cordial and nice, but I was never really close to him,” she said. Bhumika further mentioned how he has changed a lot and how she sees so much difference. She also spoke about how people are different when they’re in their 20s, 40s and 50s. So, she thinks he's probably changed, from what she hears, because she doesn’t have much interaction with him on a personal front. Bhumika also said she saw growth in him as an artist.

She added she wants to ensure she is a part of good films like MS Dhoni and Tere Naam.

Bhumika has featured in several films such as Run (2003), Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa and Silsiilay (2004), Dil Jo Bhi Kahey (2005), Family (2006), and Gandhi, My Father (2007). She made her comeback in Hindi films with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Khamoshi, and Bhram (2019). She will next be seen in Operation Romeo. Directed by Shashant Shah, the film is the remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie Ishq.
